Dropbox
With dropbox, you can store your files and get if from your computers, phones, or tablets. Documents can be edited, photos can be automatically added from your smartphone, and you can show off videos from anywhere. Also, photos can be shared among friends or like a team like you are using a single computer. Your files are always safe on dropbox even if your phone or device crashes.
Pros:
- Access files on the go: Iphone/ipad, android and mobile web.
- Showcase your photos: Online slide shows, post to facebook and twitter, add captions.
- Simple file sharing: Share with anyone.
Cons:
- No remote access
- Not available on windows phone.
- Does not work seamlessly with MSOffice across PC, Mac or Web.
- Only 2GB free. However, with each friend invited, you get additional 500MB and your storage can be increased to 16GB with more friends invited.
- Also, additional 100GB cost $99 compared to $50 for Skydrive and $60 for GoogleDrive.
Google Drive
The first thing you see when you open GoogleDrive is "One safe place for all your stuff". Apparently, that's not far from the truth as you can easily get your stuff in GoogleDrive, access what you need wherever you go, create something, and most of all, it is safe, secure and shareable.
Pros:
- Access files on the go: Iphone/ipad, android, and mobile web.
- Simple file sharing: Share with anyone, online viewing for MSOffice files.
- File storage and access: Windows, Mac and web.
- 15GB free storage
Cons:
- No remote access
- Not available on windows phone.
- Does not work seamlessly with MSOffice across PC, Mac or Web.
- Cannot showcase your photos.
- Also, additional 100GB cost $60 compared to $50 for Skydrive.
SkyDrive
You have got access to everything on your skydrive whereever you are. Your files are not stuck on any single PC or device. Get free Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote in your browser with skydrive and free web apps.
Pros:
- Access files on the go: Iphone and ipad, windows phone, desktop, and mobile web.
- Storage Options: 7GB free with option to expand
Cons:
Only 7GB free when compared to Google Drive's 15GB. Also, an additional 20GB cost $10

There are several cloud storage options available out there but i decided to compare only these three as they are quite popular among everyday users.
